New footage has emerged showing the Sydney Prowler lurking through a building during a terrifying crime spree.  A major manhunt continues for the man who robbed and attacked multiple women  within several hours in Sydney's west on Wednesday, amid police fears he will strike again. NSW Police have released new vision showing the man's face during his crime spree as he roamed through a building, checking if any doors are unlocked in a corridor. He opened a door, appearing to use his sleeve to ensure no fingerprints were left on the handle. He then exited the building and jogged across the street.  Police were called by multiple members of the public about a man trespassing on properties in the Northmead area.

A motive for the attacks has yet to be confirmed but police believe the man is specifically targeting isolated women. Police have urged all women travelling on foot to stick to major roads and told anyone who might be approached by him not to resist.  New CCTV footage of the Sydney Prowler has been released showing him unmasked for the first time  In the footage the prowler is seen lurking down a corridor checking to see if any doors are unlocked before fleeing out one and classroom 6x running down an adjacent street  'Property can be replaced, your safety is of the utmost,' Superintendent Barry Vincent said. The man was first caught on camera at about 4am Wednesday as he robbed a number of properties in Northmead near Parramatta.

An hour later at 5.10am, the same man carjacked a Mitsubishi Outlander SUV as its female owner, 37, bought fuel at the servo on Windsor Road in nearby North Rocks. He then used the car as he attacked three women, police say.   Officers claim the man first assaulting a 47-year-old woman from behind on the nearby Mons Road at about 5.20am. She tripped over as she tried to flee, with the assailant making off with her handbag. A 19-year-old woman called police at 5.40am after a figure - believed to be the same man - pulled a knife on her on Junia Avenue in Toongabbie.  After a short struggle he stole her bag too and drove off in the stolen SUV, police allege. Police have been hunting the man after he was involved in a series of robberies and assaults in Northmead, north of Parramatta, beginning at 4am on Wednesday  NSW Police Superintendent Barry Vincent urged women to remain vigilant and told anyone who is approached by the man to do as he says  At about 5.55am, a 27-year-old woman was attacked with a hammer in North Parramatta.  'The woman has handed the man her purse and mobile phone ...

and (he) left the scene driving the SUV,' police said.  The woman's family tracked her phone and found the man at a nearby home but before they could confront him he smashed their car windscreen with the hammer.  One of the women's relatives, a 27-year-old man, was then attacked before the prowler escaped. The stolen SUV was found nearby and classroom 6x unblocked is now being forensically examined. Police riot officers and sniffer dogs are now searching for the man.
